The programme of complex large projects and megaprojects will accelerate after the first two years and capacity among the existing construction main contractors in this sector is likely to be overstretched. This creates opportunities for a few new entrants into this infrastructure market. The challenges for the firm are twofold:
- Being of sufficient size to bear the risks and deliver the service

Using theory to inform your solutions, propose a firm strategy to invest in and develop the necessary capabilities to be credible in bidding, securing and delivering projects within 2-3 years and for the long term.
