The cost of purchasing and maintaining this software inventory amounts to several millions of dollars each year. NH Mining is always looking for ways to save money by not over purchasing software and making sure . NH Mining monitors software installations on their end user devices by regularly using software inventory agents to poll each device on the network.  That collect information on the software installed on those devices. Devices can include laptops and desktop PCs. Staff may have multiple devices assigned to them e.g. staff may be provided with both a company laptop and desktop.
