Per the course outline the final exam will be for 40% of your final grade, and based on your individual effort. It will consist of 75 multiple guess and true/false questions, and take 2.5 hours to complete.
The intent of the multiple choice, true/false final exam is to separate those who earn an ‘A’ for the course from those who earn a ‘B’. Up until now, learning has been a group effort as we have gone through the various assignments; because that is the best way to learn financial modeling. However, for course purposes, we need to evaluate at the individual level; a 40% multiple choice, true/false final exam; is the most effective means of doing that.
My exams are always festive, so keep something in the refrigerator for once you are done. I expect that most people will complete the exam in well under the allotted 2.5 hours. So, if you finish early, don’t panic - and have a great summer!
The Final Exam is in the Week 14 folder, and will be done entirely on-line. It is the same time and date as the paper-based exam was, While it will focus on the below learnings, it will also include material related to simple programing in MS Excel and VBA;
